This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to every business that uses DailyCRM, to all of its Authorized Users and to everything published or sent through the Services, including Customer Sites, forms, emails, text messages, files and AI Features. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. Illegal, harmful and deceptive content

You may not use the Services to create, store, publish or send content that:

  • is illegal, or promotes, facilitates or instructs illegal activity, or offers goods or services you are not legally allowed to provide;
  • is false, misleading or deceptive — including fake or purchased reviews and ratings, invented testimonials, undisclosed paid endorsements, false claims that you are licensed, insured, bonded, certified, “award-winning” or affiliated with a brand, prices or guarantees you do not honour, and “before and after” pictures that are not of your own work;
  • uses stock photos in a way that suggests the people shown are your team or clients, or that an identifiable person, brand or organization endorses you, when that is not true;
  • is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory or violent, or targets people based on protected characteristics;
  • is sexually explicit or exploits minors in any way;
  • contains malware, phishing pages, cryptocurrency miners or anything designed to deceive visitors or harm their devices;
  • impersonates any person, business or DailyCRM, or misrepresents your identity or the source of a message.

2. Intellectual property and other people’s rights

  • Do not upload, select or publish images, photos, videos, texts, logos, fonts or other material you do not have the right to use — including copying a competitor’s website, photos or reviews.
  • Do not use stock images in violation of their licence (see the Stock Images & Customer Content Policy), including as a logo, trademark or business name, or to sell unaltered copies.
  • Do not use trademarks or brand names in a way that is likely to confuse people or that suggests a relationship you do not have.
  • Do not publish personal information, photos of identifiable people, their homes, addresses, house numbers or licence plates without a lawful basis and any required consent.

3. Email, text messages, calls and notifications

  • Send commercial electronic messages only to people who have given the consent required by law (express or, where permitted, implied consent under CASL; prior express written consent for marketing texts and autodialed calls under the TCPA) and keep records of that consent.
  • Do not use purchased, rented, scraped or harvested contact lists, and do not send unsolicited bulk messages (spam).
  • Identify your business in every message, include a working unsubscribe or STOP option where required and honour opt-outs promptly (within 10 business days at the latest, or sooner where the law requires).
  • Respect quiet hours and do-not-call rules; do not spoof sender names, numbers or email headers or use misleading subject lines.
  • Do not use the Services for debt collection harassment, political robocalls or any messaging that requires a registration or licence you do not hold.
  • Do not create excessive bounce, complaint or opt-out rates. We may throttle, hold or block sending to protect deliverability for everyone.

4. Privacy and surveillance

  • Collect, use and disclose personal information about End Clients, website visitors and your team only as permitted by applicable privacy laws and with the notices and consents they require.
  • Do not use conversion tracking, pixels, call tracking or location features covertly. Tell people about tracking on your Customer Sites and tell employees how location is recorded at job start and stop.
  • Do not store in the Services special categories of sensitive information (such as health information, government identification numbers, full payment card numbers or bank credentials) unless strictly necessary and lawful. Never store full card numbers in notes or files — use a payment processor.

5. Security and integrity of the Services

You may not:

  • probe, scan, penetration-test or vulnerability-test the Services, or attempt to bypass authentication, permissions, tenant isolation, rate limits or other security measures, without our prior written permission;
  • access or try to access another customer’s account or data, or data you are not authorized to see within your own account;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Services, including by denial-of-service attacks, flooding, excessive automated requests or uploading files designed to exploit software;
  • scrape, crawl or harvest data from the Services or other customers’ sites, or use bots to create accounts, submit forms or generate fake leads, clicks or calls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Services, or use them to build or benchmark a competing product without our consent;
  • share account credentials, resell access or use one account to serve unrelated businesses without our agreement.

Responsible disclosure: if you find a security vulnerability, report it to [SECURITY EMAIL] and do not access, modify or disclose data that is not yours. We will not pursue good-faith reports that follow this rule.

6. AI Features

  • Do not use AI Features to produce fake reviews or testimonials, misleading claims, impersonations, deepfakes of real people, unlawful content or content that violates the AI providers’ usage policies.
  • Review AI output before you publish or send it; you are responsible for it as for any other Customer Content.
  • Do not attempt to extract model prompts, bypass safeguards or use the Services to resell AI capacity.

7. Domains and Customer Sites

  • Connect only domains you own or are authorized to use; no typosquatting or domains that imitate other brands.
  • Do not use Customer Sites for content unrelated to your legitimate business, link farms, doorway pages, cloaking or other search-engine manipulation, or to host files for distribution.
  • Do not use Customer Sites or forms to collect passwords, payment card data or other credentials.

8. Restricted businesses

The Services are designed for legitimate home-service and similar businesses. You may not use them for businesses or activities that are illegal where you operate or where your clients are, or for weapons, illegal drugs, gambling, adult services, multi-level marketing, “get rich quick” schemes, debt relief or credit repair schemes, or any business that requires a licence you do not hold.

9. Enforcement

We do not have to monitor content or activity, but we may investigate suspected violations. If we believe this AUP has been violated, we may, at our discretion and with or without notice: remove or unpublish content, disable features (such as sending or the Customer Site), suspend or terminate accounts, report activity to law enforcement or affected parties, and cooperate with investigations. Violations may also lead to the consequences described in the Terms, including your indemnity obligations. Our decision not to act in one case does not waive our right to act in another.

10. Reporting abuse

To report spam, abuse, illegal content or a violation of this AUP, write to [ABUSE EMAIL] with the address (URL) of the content, a description and your contact details. For copyright complaints, follow the procedure in the Content Policy.
